2 Corinthians 10:17
Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.
Since we are in an abnormal situation, involved in Kingdom work in a very obvious way, we tend to receive a lot of praise. People think they are paying us a compliment, but they are actually giving us credit that is not ours to take! As Rodgers said again and again while we were in Texas: we aren't even doing anything. God is doing everything. Pray with us that we can maintain this perspective and never grow weary of reminding people that the credit all belongs to God.
