promises

The rainbow was the symbol of God's promise to Noah to never again destroy the earth with water. We saw a rainbow on our way to church this morning - a double, full rainbow. It was the first time our sons remember seeing a rainbow in person. Quite an experience! More importantly, it reminds us of God's promises to us.

Deuteronomy 31:8
"The Lord is the one who goes ahead of you;
He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you.
Do not fear or be dismayed.”

We had to stop on the side of the road to take a picture (or a few) of this.

Jeremiah 1:12
Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well,
for I am watching over My word to perform it.”

2 Timothy 2:13
If we are faithless, He remains faithful,
for He cannot deny Himself.

You can see the second rainbow in this one.

Pray for Maisha Kamili in Kenya and our mission control in the US. Pray that God's will is done, that he goes before us and prepares the way for ministry, that he will accomplish what he intends to. We believe that big things are to come for Maisha Kamili, the children we work with, and the adults who take MasterLife classes. We believe that God has plans to use us in major ways for His Kingdom Work. Where God is at work, our enemy is also at work. We ask for prayer as we put on our armor "for our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." (Ephesians 6:12)

We are grateful for all of you who have been keeping up with our weekly prayer posts this year, and for those participating in the 40 Days of Prayer online, which we are currently in the middle of. We pray for you also, that your relationship with Christ will be strengthened and that God will reveal himself to you even as you pray for us.
